Meet Your Inspector
Before becoming a home inspector, Derrick Decker honed his skills working with professional sports teams, including your home team, the Texas Rangers Baseball Club, as a medical professional. In this role, he developed championship-level expertise in communication, management, and the protection of multimillion-dollar assets, contributing to successful seasons on and off the field.
With a desire to grow his family here in Texas, Derrick found a new calling in home inspection. He pursued his passion by graduating as a licensed professional inspector from the Champions School of Real Estate in Dallas. Derrick then established his own business, committed to providing East Texas families with superior service. To further enhance his qualifications, he earned multiple licenses and certifications, including a Wood Destroying Insects license from the Texas Department of Agriculture and the Mold Assessment Technician License from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. He also became a Certified Pool Operator / Certified Pool Inspector through the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance, among other credentials.
At Total Precision Inspections, Derrick brings integrity and accountability to every report, ensuring that your home is thoroughly and accurately inspected. Derrick and his wife, Courtney, are now proudly raising their baby boy, Brooks, right here in the heart of East Texas. Our family looks forward to the opportunity to assist yours.
